Can the wall panels be used in the shower?Updated 3 months ago

While our wall panels and mouldings are supplied in a durable polyurethane base material, which is inherently waterproof, it's essential to consider how you plan to finish or paint them, especially if you intend to use them in wet areas such as showers.

Although the base material is waterproof, the finishing paint or coating applied to the panels or mouldings will play a crucial role in protecting them from moisture and ensuring long-term durability. We recommend using a high-quality, washable acrylic-based eggshell paint, such as those offered by reputable brands like Mylands.

Alternatively, you may opt for a PU (polyurethane) sprayed finish, applied by a professional decorator, for added protection and longevity.

It's important to note that the choice of finishing technique will impact the performance and appearance of the wall panels or mouldings in wet areas. Therefore, we highly advise ordering a sample from us so you can test the material with your chosen finishing technique before proceeding with installation. This allows you to assess compatibility, durability, and aesthetic suitability for your specific application.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to provide guidance and support to ensure that your wall panels or mouldings meet your expectations and perform optimally in your desired environment.
